Summary: Basketball coach Clyde and his wife Stephanie divorced a few months ago, and their teenage daughter Hannah and girl Emily ‘M’ live with their mother and spend weekends with their father. One day, Clyde stops his car at a yard sale and M buys an antique carved box and becomes obsessed with it. M finds the hidden lock and releases an evil spirit that is possessed by him. Clyde soon learns that Em has a problem, but his annoying ex-wife and her boyfriend Brett ignore him and obtain a restraining order against Clyde. Clyde looks for Professor McMannis and when he sees the box, he reveals that it is a dibuk box, with a peg stuck inside. He also explains that the box should not be open; Otherwise the person will be under the control of the soul. Now Clyde travels to a Jewish community in New York and the rabbi’s son Tzadok returns with him in the hope of escaping M to save the girl.
