Story: Veteran actress Tanuja plays a tough and grumpy old lady, who single-handedly raises a son after her husband’s untimely demise. But now he has a different relationship with his eldest son (played by Jisshu Sengupta, arguably the best role of his career), who lives separately with his wife. When an NGO worker brings in a young orphaned boy to spend time with her, the bitter old woman gets a chance to relive the days she spent with her son as her friend. The adult son, in turn, sees a forgotten reflection of himself in the orphan boy, and begins to question his own attitude towards the mother he loved dearly.
