storyline:
In 2013, on a plane bound for Seattle A man revealed that he had watched a videotape of Samara Morgan’s curse. Another passenger revealed she had seen the tape and asked the man if he had made a copy. He replied that he couldn’t. Moments later, Samara crashed the plane. Two years later, in 2015, college professor Gabriel Brown bought a VCR with a videotape found inside.
Elsewhere, student Julia sees boyfriend Holt going to college, but grows nervous as he haunts her. Soon a panicked girl contacted her. She was worried about Holt as well. When Julia went to see her boyfriend She meets Gabriel and meets a group of people known as the Sevens who are involved in a cursed video experiment. The group filmed the video themselves before sending the footage to someone else called Tails.
