Story: Shaila and Mohan Katdare live a middle class life in Mumbai with their mentally challenged son Bacchu. Shaila works in an office from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Mohan works night shift in telegraph office and works as a freelance typist. One of the parents has to stay with the child in his house during the day. Shaila and Mohan are like Sun and Moon and neither spend time together nor have an intimate relationship. Shaila accepts this as a sacrifice for her son. But Mohan is disappointed. More complications occur when the child reaches the age of 15 and becomes addicted to sexual desires.
