storyline
After successfully tasked with rescuing hostages from pirates in Somalia, Barney Ross and his mercenary team, the “Expendables” Church, are invited to kill the corrupt General Garza, the dictator of the “Expendables”. Vilena Island in the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Church offers $5 million, and Barney travels with his partner Lee Christmas on a plane to Vilena to meet local contact Sandra.
They had an incident with a group and fled the island. But Sandra refused to leave her country and was left behind. They investigate and discover that Church is actually from the CIA, who want them to do the dirty work to destroy powerful drug dealers and James Munroe, a rogue FBI agent who uses the island to grow coke. But Barney still feels divided between staying safe in the United States or risking his life to save Sandra and his soul.
